The restaurant is modern. The toasts are simply amazing, we one had with crab. Pastas are very good also. Can't really go wrong with anything here!

I went there with my wife for dinner. We waited 2 months for the reservation as this is a highly rated restaurant. It was worth the wait! We split 5 small plates followed by the nightly special of wood grilled tile fish. When the 1st plate came out it was fabulous & my wife said this will be the best... More

Everything about dinner at Veronica is terrific. The food is delicious and interesting, yet not too "weird" so as to be inaccessible. We all loved everything we ordered, even our drinks. Service is professional yet friendly and helpful. In short, I can't wait to go back!

After trying to book thru Open Table several weeks ago, when we arrived in Philly we walked to Vernick and were given a reservation for the next night at 5:30. We had a wonderful experience. We started with the chef surprise of Rhubarb and strawberry gazpacho with a pepper cracker. The Maryland Crab on toast was perfect. The octopus was... More

Reservations are hard to come by but if you go early enough and don't mind the wait, you could grab a seat at the bar where they serve a full menu. The food is delicious! Great atmosphere. Great cocktails as well. This is probably our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia and definitely a top three.

We called for reservations and found they were booked four days out. However, they do have a system that if you go to the restaurant they will take your name and number and call you when a table in the bar opens up. We went for a drink down the street and they called and when we got back to... More

Wow! Exceeded expectation! So many great choices so for starters we shared Maryland crab cake and Smoked trout & rillette. For entrees we shared charcoal-grilled octopus niçoise, grilled heart of romaine with figs and aged cheddar, and halibut hot & sour sauce which was amazing. We asked for bread to soak up the juice and were served a generous plate... More

As soon as we walked-in we were greeted by a smiling hostess who held open the door. Our server was very pleasant, introduced herself and made us feel welcomed and even the wait staff was friendly and attentive without being over burdening. We had small plates and each plate was tasty. I think its safe to say our favorite was... More

My mom made reservations at Vernick for my entire family for my dads 60th bithday, it wasa great place to celebrate, high end with impeccable service, and the menu was adjusted for my sister who is celiac without any issue. The food was so good and the ambience elegant and celebratory.
