Wow! We are hard-to-please Berkeley foodies, and this meal was memorable for its fresh, innovative and honest approach to great locally sourced ingredients. This would be our first stop on any return to Philadelphia!

Charming ambiance with an amazing menu of farm-to-table, fresh ingredients. Different and delicious! All of the staff were attentive, welcoming and very accommodating of my food allergies and requests. Our server, Abigail, was very sweet. Vegetarian friendly!

It took a few weeks to get the reservation to this popular spot. We enjoyed their version of an old fashion before dinner; one of the best I've had. We were given a couple of varieties of chef specials. Recommend the tuna ‘ceviche’ and curried...More

I had an appetizer of soft shell crab with a complex sauce with coconut, and various vegetables. It was outstanding! It topped many other dishes I have had at excellent restaurants over the past few years. It was a special, not a usual offering.

The concept is not new but Talula's Garden Restaurant does the farm-to-table dining options superbly. Menu seems to change often which means we can always count on the season's best and freshest foods. Presentation is excellent. We found the staff outstanding and highly knowledgeable about...More

Hipster food to table good concept but not everything as well executed as it should be. If you have a Limited bar then you best make sure your drink special is spot on not barely tolerable. The red wine tasted of vinegar. The white wine...More

Talula's commitment to excellence remains intact which means the food, service, and atmosphere are always exceptional. I had the day's burger special and my wife had veg ravioli which were both tasty and very satisfying. Add to that great wine and a large beer list...More

Been here dozens of times in the past BUT we recently switched our lifestyle to a plant based diet (lack of a better term Vegan). Not much n the menu but the server walked us through a few plates they could adjust and then suggested...More

We came on a Friday evening and - without a reservation - got a table in the beautiful garden. The food was absolutely delicious, but a little pricey considering the portion size. Friendly service and nice atmosphere, so if you want to treat yourself, definitely...More

Description
Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants. The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a light European touch, changes with the seasons. The artful cuisine, hospitable staff, sustainable spirits, and a focus on cheese make the dining experience here incredibly memorable.
