Whenever we come to town we go right to Tony L’s for a pork sandwich. We were told to try this place as they have a very good sandwich as well. Truthfully I would rate it as almost as good. I prefer the broccoli rabe...More

Wanted to visit an institution in Philly and felt this fit the bill for authentic sandwich, "Philly-style". The restaurant is in an industrial section of Philly. You wait in line, but it moves fast. By the time you are at the counter, you'll have figured...More
Great cheesesteak sandwich! Meaty delicious melty cheese good sandwich roll - I ate every bite! Sandwich was huge and I was soooo full. I got cheesesteak wit, provolone, and spicy peppers.

After having tried MANY cheesesteak places throughout the entire Philly area, every time I visit and get a cheesesteak from John's, I'm reminded why. Unlike other popular spots, this place is made to order. On weekends the lines get very long, and the wait time...More
