About
Distrito is a vibrant celebration of the culture and cuisine of Mexico City with a menu focused on the diverse street foods served in what is known by locals as the Distrito Federal (D.F.). Distrito Tacqueria is our first-floor casual eatery featuring an approachable menu by Chef Jose Garces. Distrito offers a full bar featuring signature margaritas, over 250 tequilas and beer towers festooned with sugar skulls holding over 128 ounces of beer. The second-level dining room is a lively backdrop for Chef Garces’ modern Mexican small plates. Styled in pinks and greens, the restaurant features more than 600 hanging masks of Mexico’s Lucha Libre - and a four seat booth fashioned from an authentic

We went here for tacos and margaritas. It was good, but not the type of place I would normally seek out. The food and drinks were okay, but not memorable.

Enjoyed the food and service. Atmosphere was very loud. Student hangout for sure. Margaritas and Burritos were perfect. Great portions.

Quirky yet charming. With the booth inside an old-school VW bug or the table with porch swings, Distrio showed us unexpected delights from our entrance to to our entrees.

I had a cancelled flight and only hotel available was in the cool Universal City area. Front Desk person recommended this spot, so gave a try at 930P. I’d agree with some of the previous reviews...I also felt like the price just quite didn’t justify...More

Fun atmosphere. Reasonable service. All of the food we had was good, but nothing spectacular. Fajita servings were relatively small. Mexican Poutine is definitely worth trying. Citywide is served with tequila.
