Good food, great view, difficult parking when busy, and can get way too loud. Live music renders conversation impossible.

This was not our first time at the Tap Room, but it was the best. In previous years, there was an afternoon "break" during which food was not available, but that is no longer the case. We like to visit Bethlehem during the Christmas season, and like to sit watch the holiday hustle and bustle as evening sets in. I... More

Was looking for the feeling of "getting away" without traveling far. This hotel has an old time glam vibe about it. It reminds me of the Waldorf in NYC. The menu has a lot of Parisian elements to it. I also liked that you can get a half order, if you want to try something new. I had the burger... More

On a very busy Tuesday before Christmas, these folks were pleasant and so accommodating. The hostess seated us at a lovely table. I had a Caesar salad with chicken-beautifully served. Our waitress, Maris, was superb. She was pleasant, appeared unhurried (although she had a number of large party tables), she was patient and explained the specials. What a delight to... More

I had a wonderful dinner last night at the Tap Room. All the restaurants in the hotel were packed with 3 deep at the Bar. Glad I had a reservation. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas as was the entire main street outside. The braised short ribs were out of this world as was the filet mignon. Another member... More

I came in the summer for a quick soup and salad and it was good, especially eating outside. Went back with a friend last week and both salad and desert were very plain for the price. We were both disappointed in what was to be our holiday luncheon. The 31 Christmas trees as advertised for bland as well....we thought we... More

The tap room is located in the historic Bethlehem Hotel. The ambience is grand, inviting and, in a way, bucolic. The food is quite good; I enjoyed a very nice beet and goat cheese salad. I look forward to returning to try other options as well. Enjoy!!

Considering the cost of this "Sunday Musical Brunch", $35/per, I expected more. It's not that the food wasn't good, it was actually very good, my issue was the extremely limited selection, dearth of food, and long lines. There was an omelet station with only one chef. The carving station which had roast beef and ham was also manned by only... More
