Stopped here for lunch our second day in park. Had low expectations as day before we went to 49er cafe and were not impressed. Well we were both surprised and treated to a very good meal. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was very tasty. Glad we stopped here.

Let's just say the local color is vibrant and entertaining -- and the beer is so cold it knocks down the dust from a Death Valley sandstorm.

During our visit to Death Valley we stopped here for a quick lunch. It was a very nice restaurant and the staff were friendly. Just don't expect anything over the top as in park the dining is very limited. So if you plan on making a day trip to Death Valley, stop here for the best options in dining.

A quaint food stop near Stovepipe Wells. Decor reminds one of old Western classics! Bar serves drinks and appetizers. There's a full service restaurant alongside that has midrange priced dinner options. Posters of movies shot at Death Valley (Star Wars!) add to the charm!

As there is not a lot restaurant in the area, we choose to eat there for lunch before going back on the road. That's maybe why the quality is just ok but not a lot more, it does what it does. Anyway the staff was normal, not extravagant and that's why we loved it because in the US you are... More

It is a cute saloon with the best food quality (not that there are that many choices in the area though). We would have come there for every meal if it was a little closer to Furnace creek.

Loved the ice cold beer on tap at Badwater Saloon. They had one called Badwater Ale and it was delicious. They have about 5 different beers on tap along with a full bar. Bartenders are very friendly and service is great. We didn't eat there but they have snacks and pizza to eat. After a day of hiking and seeing... More

This place used to be a dive but we gave it a try and were delighted Service is always a problem in Death valley because the staff is there for the recreation and not the job. On two occasions we had enthusiastic servers and our food came fast even when it was moderately busy. Lots of vegetarian options. Liked the... More

The chili was very unique with sausage and pork in it, but no beans. I really enjoyed it. There was a large party of foreign tourists in the restaurant and the wait staff seemed a bit frazzled, but they were nice once you got their attention.

Stopped here after going to the sand dunes and mosaic canyon. This bar is at the Stovepipe Wells area. Arrived at 4pm with the intention of having a drink and waiting for the restaurant next door to open. However after finding out that they serve food here all day until 9pm and that they had a burger for $10 (including... More
