I love this place for Mexican. Hot chips are fresh, food is yummy, plentiful and a fair price. You can easily split an entree. People who drink love their margaritas. The only reason why I didn't give five stars is because it's above average Mexican food but not the best I've ever had.
We ALWAYS stop at this restaurant coming and going to Moab, and in fact plan our travel timing around being able to have a meal here. This time, it was two lunches (coming and going). As always, the food is fantastic, service fast and very friendly, and the restrooms spotless. Love this place. (and the Chipotle Enchiladas)
My wife and I stopped in on New Years Day evening after a day traveling by car and were looking forward to a nice meal and a couple of cocktails. We checked with Trip Adviser and found that the top restaurants were closed for New Years Day but noticed that El Tapatio was open and close to our motel so... More
I like this mexican restaurant the best. They have hot, fast and fresh lunch specials. It's the best in town, IMO.
We stopped here for lunch. Staff here are very courteous. Free flow of nachos salsa. Quantity in main courses are too much for one person to eat. Recommend everyone to order one main course item and 2 people can share. 👍👍👍👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
This place was an amazing surprise after an exhaustive day, the food is very good and was quickly delivered, the place has a nice staff and atmosphere.
Kinda just joking but when we asked around for good restaurants in Fruita everyone said El Tapatio or Hot Tomato Pizzeria in town. Although we've lived in Breckenridge the last 5 years we are from NJ so we are by default pizza snobs. So Mexican it was. We were camping at Colorado National Monument just 5 miles up the road... We were staying at a hotel near here, so we decided to walk over and have dinner. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and service was good. The food was decent - not the best Mexican food I ever had, but better than some. Prices were reasonable.
The restaurant was cleanand the staff friendly and punctual but I was disappointed by the food. My chicken quesadilla was EXTREMELY greasy. The grease poured off each piece to the point I was unable to eat it. For the price I expected much better.
