Taco Tuesday or Any Day!

Located right at the beginning of the Ventura pier, the Beach House makes great tacos. I highly recommend the grilled fish tacos, but I’ve had the others and couldn’t find one i didn’t like. They also serve beer which is an essential ingredient in the enjoyment of a good taco. They offer special pricing for Taco Tuesday which should really be a national holiday.

Soooo good!

We are staying in Ventura and walked to the Beach House. We thought it was a full-service restaurant but it was order at the counter. Don’t let that discourage you. The views were awesome (especially at sunset) and the food was incredible and very reasonably priced. We had Snapper, cauliflower tots and brussel sprouts. YUMMY

An Ahi taco

I stopped by for a quick bite as a late lunch at the Ventura Pier, where I had not been in a long time. Only had their Ahi taco. It was delicious! Generous portion of fish plus fresh ingredients to top it, including avocado slices. Their taco was tasty too. What a good surprise it was. I'll go back very soon to discover more of their offerings. As I left, there were more than thirty people waiting in line: clearly this place is no secret :)

Casual, Beach Views and Great Tacos

After a full day out with Island Packer's on Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands, we were tired, after a day of hiking, so looking for something very casual and easy we headed to Beach House Tacos on the base of the Ventura Pier. We parked in the parking structure next door, and if you take your ticket with you, Beach House will validate for two hours of parking. We made it to the eatery, decided on our dishes and ordered at the window. After ordering we found a picnic table in their patio area next to a heater as it was a bit chilly. Our food came out quickly and wow we were surprised. When we ordered we chose just one taco each wondering if we should do two. That was quickly answered when we got our food. The tacos are huge. To start we ordered the special elote fries. Oh my goodness, crispy and creamy French fries topped with cotija cheese, roasted corn and a nice spicy aioli. Mr. B had the popcorn shrimp taco filled with tender perfectly fried shrimp and I went with the potato taco. It was filled with tender pieces of potato, topped with chiles and lettuce, both were absolutely delicious. This pier restaurant is one of the best we have had for casual but delicious food. The bonus for Mr. B was a can of Tecate beer for a mere $3 bucks, such a deal. It was the perfect spot for a very casual but scrumptious dinner.

Tacos Kicked Up A Notch

I just found out the best value is the one taco combo with rice and beans. Been ordering the salmon, shrimp, California grilled fish and calamari tacos, all just fantastic. The salmon taco garnished with avocado, cabbage and pepitas on top. Scrumptious and healthy. Expect long lines anytime of the day and long wait for the food but well worth the wait. The salsas are also a step up, so are the chips.

Very good tacos, good hangout

Visited a couple of times during our stay. Good blackened halibut tacos, good portions and good sized tacos. Halibut fish and chips with jalapeño batter were tasty as well. Right on the pier, fast service and no frills.

A little disappointed. The ahi burrito was pretty good, but the veggie burrito bowl missed the mark and the rice was mush. The fish taco was average. It was unseasonable cold and patio heaters weren’t on. Overall a disappointing experience.

1st Timer but not the last for sure!!!

Absolutely heavenly!! I've had plenty of tacos in my life but these are delicious! The parmesan shell is the best, fish tacos and potato tacos were so good, I'm going back again until I've tried everything on the menu!

Quick, cheap and good

Walking the beach around lunchtime we saw this option. Shirt line, we shared a salmon taco and an Ahi one. Small but cheap at $7.50 each and quite tasty.

Haven't been here since it was Eric Ericsson's, thought I would give it a Try... I ordered Halibut Fish and Chips (for 18$). I got one small piece of fish... when I went back to ask them about it, the Manager Emma Said "if you want more, I will put it another order, but you're gonna have to pay for it"... if you go to Andria's you Literally get more than twice the amount for same price and it's way Better.... if you want a good fish place and drink with Great customer Service Try Lure or For a Beer, Transmission Brewerys Staff and Customer Service is Amazing ! The only Reason this place stays in business is because of the view !

Awesome clam chowder in a bread bowl

Outdoor dining on picnic tables because of Covid. Windy and lots of seagulls around, but staff were actively keeping the area clean and sanitized. Excellent food.

Great fish tacos at a great location

Great fish tacos, they are bigger than most fish tacos and some of the best I have ever had. Great location being right on the pier, just a cool place to have fish tacos and hang out.
