I Don't Dare About The Decor, I'm Not Eating It. Gimme That Machaca!! <3

I didn't know what to expect but after working 15-20 years in the restaurant industry I get what's going on at my table & behind the service. The service was straight forward. They got the job done & It was very busy for a random weeknight. My food was fresh & ready fast so they experienced in that kitchen. The chips & salsa were top notch, too good actually because I devoured it. I like my salsa on the spicy side & I don't really care how you like yours. lol. Of course I got the machaca & it really was one of the best meals in my life. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Will you feel about this meal the way I do? Eh, I don't care, some of you can never be please but I'm telling you, this is what I would want for my last meal so I can leave this earth with a smile on my face & a heart full of gratitude for the chefs that can take something simple & make it magical. Cheers!

Funky authentic old El Paso place

Kiki's has been a staple in Central El Paso for years. Interior is the same-nothing fancy old school bar with food tables. The food is great though and I highly recommend the green chicken enchiladas. It is always packed for a reason! Reasonably priced too.

Best Mexican food in El Paso

We’ve ate here multiply times. In my opinion, this is the best Mexican food in EL PASO. We have tried many others here but honestly all the Mexican food places have a different variety and taste. L & J’s is good as well! Kiki’s has the best Chile Relleno’s and Salsa. Just wish they would give you more chips and salsa. Kiki’s is our favorite place to go! We will be back

Overrated place

Ordered a combination plate and a big bowl of Chile Colorado for myself. Chile came first I took one bit of the meat it was way too salty and the potato even saltier so whole big bowl of Chile on the side basically untouched told the waitress about it she said she’ll let the kitchen know but didn’t do anything about my bill. This place seems way overrated

Good in Every Way

This place is good in every way. Food, service, atmosphere does not disappoint. We have enjoyed every dish we have ordered and the staff is extra nice. We appreciate that the food is not heavily spiced and fine for almost everyone's taste. It is a gem.

Great service

Restaurant was busy and we had 5 people so they first sat us in two booths so we didn't have to continue waiting for a table. Once a table was open, they moved us to it. The food was good. The margaritas are delicious. The entire staff were friendly and helpful.

Kiki’s for lunch?

We decided to give this restaurant a try after reading the TA reviews. The restaurant was reasonably busy at the time considering it’s relatively small size. This is an older Mexican restaurant bar that’s been around for some time. Needless to say, were very disappointed in the food and the slow service. The food was below average and “soupy” with too much cheese. We very much enjoy Mexican food and frequent Mexican restaurants in and around the El Paso / Las Cruces often so we were expecting tasty Mexican food but ended up being disappointed. Perhaps we visited on a bad day. On the way out we noticed that there was a sign outside the restaurant advertising for hired help. Perhaps they were short staffed in the kitchen the day that we ate there. Needless to say we would not return….

Great TexMex

Wonderful service and outstanding TexMex. Portions are large and prices are great. We have never left this place hungry. Everything from the homemade taco shells to the hearty enchilada plates taste wonderful. Watch out for the homemade salsa, it packs a punch.

A Happy Place

Sunday special is the Chicken Mole. So good I am still craving more a week later. My wife had the machaca burrito, and after declaring it too much on arrival, proceeded to finish it all! She said "the food's not heavy at all!" The pictures do not do the food justice. It is like eating in someone's kitchen. This is a small family place with loyal following, but even newcomers like us felt at home.

Lunch at KiKi's Restaurant

Haven't been here in 3 years but onlu due to location. Had their chili rellenos and they were de;icious. My husband enjoyed the enchiladas and said they were the best in El Paso. Service was good no waiting for drinks or ordering. Warm atmosphere and friendly workers.

Disappointed

After reading the reviews I was excited to try Kiki’s while we were visiting El Paso. The place was busy and we were told there would be a 20 minute wait and we could wait at the bar, which would be fine. Apparently, the bar wasn’t for serving drinks and just a place to pile up dirty glasses (and there were a lot), there wasn’t even a bartender. Staff just keeping running behind the bar and getting their own drinks. We were seated sooner, which was great and ordered right away. They brought my beer but not my husband’s margarita. They served the food and still no drink. He asked 3 times before they finally brought it. We were 3/4 done with the meal before he got his margarita. When it was brought it was very watered down. Thankfully, the gentlemen that brought it realized it had probably been sitting the entire time. He brought another one right way. Which is the only reason I am not giving just a single star rating. The food was fine but nothing special. We will not return there.

15 years visiting Kikis for lunch or dinner and never disappointed of food. Same quality of food. I have taken family an friends to Kikis. A few of my friends became customers of this wonderful place.

Great Food

Service wasn't great, but the food was outstanding. House margarita was good. Had the number 1 and number 2 as entrees. Really enjoyed the enchiladas. Felt like there was a lot of food for the money. Would definitely return.

After landing in ELP we went to Kiki's and it was wonderful. The service was professional and very attentive. I had the number 2 with 2 enchiladas, chile relleno, and taco and it hit the spot . Red sauce was savory. We will return for sure!

A long time favorite spot

A ling time wonderful eatery in El Paso. On a recent visit to my hometown I asked friends to take me here. The enchiladas are outstanding. Always busy. The tacos are amazing. The staff is great. An active, noisy vibe full of local aromas. I hated to leave. The food, service and atmosphere is great.
