Just YUM! We were in El Paso for the night and saw this on line and thought it sounded interesting (not going to lie, the tuna called to me). We went there and ordered 3 small plates, empanadas, tuna and elote and each was a joy in every bite. Service was very good and ambiance is comfortable, cool. We loved it. Thanks.

We had an excellent dinner. The menu has numerous intriguing options. The food was very good. The ambience was quite contemporary. Service was exemplary. Most dishes are in the $20s. Several appetizers/smaller dishes are around $10. Serving sizes were ample.

Great new spot in town! Dishes are Delicious! We tried Shrimp cocktail, Peruvian ceviche, fish tacos, a unique rice with rice, beef & chicken and finished with a great Tiramisu. Service profesional and prompt. Nice ambiance

Service was great but food was nothing out of the ordinary. Servings were decent but quite pricey. I had the Tallarin Salgado with beef. I’ve never had Peruvian food before but this plate tasted like Chinese noodles with beef. Again, it was good, but seemed pricy for something I could have had at any Chinese restaurant. I believe most plates start at $21. I was with a large group and different plates were ordered. Nothing tasted different than food we’ve had before.
The place was clean and very modern looking. Our waitress was quick and kept up with our orders and refills.
One thing that did stand out were cookies on the desert menu. I don’t recall the name but The cookie itself was thin and not very sweet but the middle was filled with a very sweet cajeta type filling.

We dropped in to see what this place offered. It did not disappoint.
We showed up and were offered indoor or outdoor seating, we stayed indoors, but outside would have been fine since it was after sunset.
We ordered some soft drinks, and a combination of appetizers and entrees. The shrimp empanadas were amazing. They had the right balance cheese, and were not skimpy with the shrimp. Noah tried the ribeye tacos and we had split the lomo saltado plate. The beef in both were seasoned well and cooked appropriately - nice and tender. The portions were not too big either, just enough to want more.
Max was helpful in choosing the dishes for our group. The service was pretty good. The table asked if there was anything to be done there for a birthday and their server brought a Explosion de Amor, and some sparklers, an acapela feliz cumpleanos, and voila.
The mood in the room was pretty chill, it wasn't too fancy, but it could be a great date night place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you have a large party, they had space for that too.
They have a full bar, and I missed the opportunity to try a pisco sour, or a caipirinha. Next time.

Maybe a dozen tables inside plus about seats at the counter. Outside seating with misters going. Great decor. The Lomo Saltado was excellent, great sauce and tender beef. The Huancaina Truffle Pasta was very good with excellent chicken. The sauce on the pasta was unique / a little different. We were trying to figure out if it was a light saffron flavor or if that was the flavor of the never tried before Peruvian black mint. They share bathrooms with the Don Carbon next door and the credit card receipt said Don Carbon Grill & Go as well. A little pricey at $23 for each entree but we will be back.

Small, casual spot on N. Mesa y UTEP. Fresh & delicious food served by a helpful and enthusiastic server. The fish tacos and elotes were superb! Outdoor shaded patio was dog-friendly, too. Recommended.

While "driving through" El Paso we found this restaurant in a shopping center parking lot. Fear not! From their outdoor patio you couldn't see cars or stores or whatever. Only very good food! And some interesting drinks!
We tried a couple of sampling dishes and loved everything.
Yes, we recommend Amar!

Tried this place out as I had read good things about it. Went for an early dinner with my wife. They have a pretty extensive list of drinks but many are new and u familiar so need explanation. We both had the shrimp cocktail as a starter and the Lomo Saltado for the entree. The shrimp cocktail was tasty with lots of shrimp. The Lomo Saltado was tasty and a generous portion. The service was quick and efficient.
It is a bit pricy but mostly worth it. The place is kind of small so can get crowded. There is both inside and patio dining but still kind of small. One odd thing is that the restrooms are in the establishment next door so a bit odd.
All that being said I would recommend it.

Amazing food, beautiful presentation, and an explosion of flavors. Truly yummy 🤤
The ceviche was very fresh and so tasteful. The steak tender and well combined with sides and salsa.

There were 15 of us, they had our table ready minutes, they do not take reservations since it is a little bit small. We were seated at the terrace, it was a good choice.
Our Waiter, she was amazing, you can feel the good vibes of the whole team, they were happy to serve us, efficient and all of us felt welcome.
Food, delicious we shared plates:
Appetizers:
- Grilled Corn
- Empanadas
-Aguachiles Enamorados
They were delicious and i will be ordering both again next time.
Main Plates we tried:
-Fried seafood platter
-Lomo Salteado
-Tallarines
-Tuna Nikkei
-Ribeye
-Mixed Rice
-Truffle Pasta
My favorite were: the Ribeye, potatoes were amazing, the aguachile had great flavor and the truffle pasta was the star!
Draft beer was extra cold!
Overall
Good company, great service and amazing plates made our visit enjoyable and we will be back.
