Had a fantastic lunch here with our family today. The service was excellent, the waiter in training, waitress and the owner of the restaurant were all very attentive and checked to see if we were enjoying our food. The owner makes everything from scratch, even the yogurt for the tzaziki. Our meal was delicious and the hummus some of the best I've ever had. I give this restaurant a 5 star rating for delicious, authentic Greek food.

The special for the day was Lemon Chicken along with traditional gyro meat with rice and a salad. It was the best Greek food I’ve had in a very long time. The staff at Zino’s is absolutely fantastic as well, very friendly. Overall it was one of the best experiences I’ve had, I highly suggest it. The price is amazing as well. No overcharge, food that you can tell has heart and soul poured into it. Definitely my new favorite restaurant!

We have been to Greece so are picky about Greek food and this place did not disappoint. We were there for lunch and wish we didn’t live so far away so we could go back. The service was attentive and my husband ordered the special of the day, which was lemon chicken with rice and he loved it. It also came with a side salad. I ordered the shrimp in tomato sauce with feta, it was so good! We also had the appetizer of hummus. It’s in a strip shopping center, next to a grocery store, but worth going out of your way to eat in this restaurant,

Currently living in the middle east for over 10 years, and traveling internationally multiple times a year in the middle east, Africa, Europe, and Asia, Zino's version of these dishes was awful. The hummus had no flavor. The baba ghanoush may not have had any eggplant in it, and seemed to have hummus in it which is all wrong! The hummus and baba ghanoush looked the same when they came out. The falafel looked, smelled, and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Additionally they were very salty to the point that I removed the filling to only eat some of the outer crust. The shawarma was a gyro, not a shawarma. The rotisserie machine with the meat on it looked like a prop only as it was not cooking, no turning and the meat looked old. Overall nothing tasted fresh nor homemade except the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions in the gyro that was supposed to be a shawarma. The best dish at this restaurant were the french fries, and they were not as advertised. This may be the El Paso, Texas version of these dishes, but they are not authentic and taste awful! If you don't know any better, you may think Zino's is great, but for those of us who live in the culture and eat the food daily, Zino's is a very bad imitation! I will never eat at Zino's again.

We went to the Zino's on Montana Ave for an early dinner Perhaps the other location is better. We've been to many Greek restaurants in many cities and this was more like fast food quality. The gyro sandwich was pretty tasty and the tzaziki with pita was pretty good also. The place was small, not real clean and we got to listen to pop music being played in the kitchen. They were out of spanakopita so we tried the falafel which was hard and tasteless. I'm not sure where the great ratings are coming from but I would set your expectations low if you choose to dine here.

Zino’s was a diamond in the rough. This small store front bistro is owned by a former upscale Las Vegas chef. His move to El Paso to teach at a culinary school gave us the opportunity to taste his Lamb Osso Buco and his Mousaka. Both heavenly. We split a dessert I can’t spell but also delicious. We’ll be back!

First of all I never post reviews on these websites. However I feel compelled…and unfortunately it is not a positive one. On reason I enjoy coming to El Paso to visit family is because people are always so pleasant helpful and friendly. Not in this case however. I was picking up a take out order at Zino’s which would normally be a cut and dry experience. I received my order and was simply waiting to pay. The restaurant was not busy at this time… but for some reason I became invisible to the staff. I’m standing for five minutes or more without even an glance from the women and a gentleman (the owner it turns out) working on a computer screen. No “I’ll be right with you”. Finally I simply asked if I could pay ( as my food was getting cold). The woman glared at me pushed my order aside and rolled her eyes as she went to another computer screen. Then the owner jumped in and was as rude a person as I’ve encountered in a long time. Really??…was all that necessary???…over a simple takeout order?? Needless to say I will never be back… even though the food was very good. Just be pleasant to your customers.

My wife had lamb shish kabobs and I had lamb and chicken shish kabobs. They came medium rare as ordered and were delicious. He comped us dessert because he wanted us to try it. The owner clearly loved his restaurant and preparing all the dishes from scratch. Well done Mr Zino.

I ordered the 3 meat lovers platter for delivery. The meats where bland no taste whatsoever. The rice was pasty. The lamb was raw in the middle (gross) and they forgot to include the side salad. I paid 31 dollars for a disappointment.

I should’ve known when I was the only person there on a Saturday lunchtime definitely not great food. Burger and a salad well enough cost me 25 bucks and not high-quality at all. I definitely would not go back.

Good food for the price. One of their locations was shut down due to labor shortage. Platters lack the variety that I normally see offered. Salad dressing could use a little help. And hummus should be offered with every dish.

You have to make the long drive to Mesa Street, in order to get what I feel is El Paso's best Gyros. I've tried other restaurants that serve Greek Food, for my favorite Gyros. Then I learned that there was another Zinos on Montana Street. Unfortunately we are going through this dreadful pandemic. So I haven't been back. Got to also try their Fries with that special sauce.

Once again a hidden jewel. In a shopping center but wonderful Greek food. Ate at lunch. Service was great and friendly. The reviews are spot on. Who knew Greek food in El Paso?

Outstanding from day one--one of our go to's for Greek and Mediterranean. Ingredients are fresh, presentation solid. Chef does his own shopping and is never afraid to experiment.
