I travelled to Little Rock with a team of 8 players and we had dinner here. It was fabulous and our waitress, Carla was wonderful! She was delightful and very helpful in suggesting entrees. I had a grilled heart of romaine salad with bacon, tomatoes and Gorgonzola cheese. It was delicious with such a good smoked taste. My entree was... More

This casual but upscale restaurant is conveniently located and has wonderful service (ask for Razan). I have eaten some of the best homemade Italian dishes, steak, and veal dishes here. Everything from the salad, pasta, entree, and dessert is beautifully presented at a perfect pace. Love their full bar, especially the wine choices.

Vesuvio Bistro is a very highly rated restaurant, but our experience was not good. First, a glass of muscato, and while it was okay, the glass was only 1/4 full, $10; the expensive G&Ts were so so, but nothing compared to those made by friends. The Caesar salads were small, the dressing good, but too sparse, and the croutons too... More

We were so excited to find a restaurant that served authentic Italian entrees catering to those with Celiac disease. The meal was fabulous, the service however was substandard as the waiter was condescending and smug. It was enough for me to consonsider if I would return. I wish I had caught his name so those whom provide great service would... More

Our drinks were very good. We enjoyed the caesar salad and the canolli. The iced tea was good. The piped in Italian music was nice, and we really enjoyed when the piano man arrived to play live music. As it was not very crowded this venue allowed for nice private dining.

Vesuvio's never disappoints. I have been to it more than a dozen times, and they (almost) always serve up a good meal. It is a true Italian restaurant, that is, not all pasta and red sauce. The wine list is eclectic, interesting, with fairly decent prices. Besides, this restaurant is one of the few good ones that are open on... More

Everything about this restaurant was pretty outstanding: the food, the service, the decor. Our one problem was that the car's GPS could not find it. When we went to Google maps it was shown correctly. They had several seating areas with separation from each other that made it cozier. We were welcomed, seated, then greeted by a friendly and professional... More

This isn great restaurant in Little Rock. Not your local pizza joint, but a very good stab at Italian bistro authenticity. A semi-formal setting with on-site pianist for a sophisticated flair. The staff are well-trained and attentive. This place is about the experience as much as it is about the food. The charcuterie with cheeses made a fine antipasto. The... More

1. They make killer martinis. 2. You cannot go wrong with cannelloni or lasagna. Also, the pasta that is in the cheese wheel is pretty amazing, too. 3. I just got back from Italy and this place holds its own. This is such an Italian gem in Little Rock. I highly recommend you go and see for yourself.

This is an excellent meal from start to finish. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He suggested an appetizer but I do not recall the name. It was a polenta with mushroom dish. It was perfect. I can highly recommend Vesuvio Bistro if you're in the mood for Italian fare.
