I was lucky enough to go through Cedar City and have a chance to dine here again. I wasn't disappointed. Had a chance to try the smoked salmon chowder. I love a chunky chowder & this one was. Unique flavor that I haven't had since visiting the Pacific Northwest. Delicious. I was glad to see the baby beet salad still... More

Yummmmm! My experience at the Depot Grill was exceptional. I loved my beet salad for a starter. And there was plenty of it. I had Chilean Seabass with a panko sriachia topping as my entree. It was the best I've ever had! And it was a rather large portion. For dessert I had creme brûlée with port. Amazingly creamy and... More

Food was good and served hot. Had a hamburger and was done the way I like it. They could use a little sprucing up - and a little cleaner! But, all in all, for a quick meal - try it.

My daughters and I ate at Depot Grill last year for the first time when we came to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back again this year and our experience was as good as last year. The food was excellent, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. One... More

When you visit a small town in the middle of nowhere, you worry about finding a restaurant that you might call "fine dining" Cedar City isn't a big place and while it's easy to find good food, finding something with ambiance, great service and excellent food was a little worrisome. However, no look further than the Depot Grill. The food... More

Great food and service, Porterhouse steak the best, Chef Bud is a real find, ask him to fix you something "special" for you, you won't regret it. I'll be stopping there whenever I'm in Cedar City. Casual dining at it's finest. One hundred characters? Really? I could have given this review in two words. "The Best" I did drive six... More

Really good service and located in a very good place. Have been going there for more that six years. It has always been great and that is why we keep going back. Love to go to dinner than catch the plays at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Great combo for an evening.

The Depot is supposed to be fine dining, and with that comes and expectation of excellence all the time. But the Depot really can be hit or miss, sometimes the good is fabulous and sometimes I feel like my food is as good as I could get at a chain restaurant for 1/3 if the cost. It's become a restaurant... More

Enjoyed cocktails, with the 4-Cheese Spinach Artichoke Dip one evening before a show at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Then enjoyed a full dinner another night consisting of: Caprese Salad, Depot Salad, the Baby Back Ribs with mixed vegetables, baked potatoes(our choice of potato), and for dessert Banana Foster. The entire meal was very good. Very glad the waiter, Charlie told... More

We dropped into the Depot Grill after camping in Cedar Breaks Nat'l Monument and found an amazing staff and chef for a fabulous meal. Chef Bud prepared some amazing specials: mushroom & leek soup and sea bass. Flavors were great and the fish was cooked perfectly. The setting is wonderful too in the historic, restored old train depot. Highly, highly... More
