Our friends told us to dine here and we are glad we did. We had reservations for 5:45 bc there were no other times available. What a treat! Happy hour prices from 5-7 and delicious oysters. We enjoyed fish tacos and clam chowder, lobster roll and oysters. To end the evening we were served complimentary chocolate pudding. Do not miss!

Second visit to one of the three restaurants in the super appealing Mermaid-franchise. This time on Macdougal Street with friends to celebrate (and recuperate) from finishing the NYC Marathon 2016 (a dozen oysters paired with the excellent octopus and ample servings of wine really helps you come around in a good way). And to be quite frank there simply isn't... More

Neat place -- lively with great deal for happy hour oysters. Good wine plus steamed clams looked good. Really I can't say enough good things about this small place in the Village. And they saved our reservation for us when the subway was delayed. A new favorite in the city...

Went on a Monday for all-day happy hour...FABULOUS! oysters were outstanding, as we're clams, especially for only $1 each. The mini fish taco and fried clam slider were also outstanding. Nice setting, waitstaff pleasant in spite of being busy.

Oysters were some of the best we've had...ever. All the food was excellently prepared and presented beautifully - the hostesses are super nice - the wait and bar staff were the perfect blend of professional and friendly. We loved our time here - and oh yea - the free dark chocolate pudding at the end - rich and delicious -... More

This neighborhood joint is always packed and with good reason. Fresher seafood can't be found and if you go for happy hour or the "Lobsterpalooza" you're gonna' find it's a real bargain too.

Great room, comfortable and appealing. Food was exceptional, even better than I had hoped -- and I'm a chef, so I can be critical, lol. Our waitress was a bit monochromatic and disinterested, but other that that, it was a thoroughly delightful experience. Highly recommended!

Smart marketing to have $1 oysters (very small but tasty) to catch your eye but the rest of the offerings are quite unique and delicious. It is just a happy place to be. Everyone was enjoying being there .

Soooo when I first moved here a guy I was dating took me here and I loved the restaurant the interior, menu, and flavors. I would say the hostesses are sometimes a bit pretentious but the bartenders and servers I've always found very lovely. Why I only eat oysters here - they know where they come from, they know the... Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
