We selected our dinner from the cold items and soup. While my salad items were tasty the wait to check out was long and my husband's soup cooled down some. The lay out of the prepared food area is not great---crowded and the selection is not as good as at larger Whole Foods stores.

Still busy, still the same, still a place I return to, to get the things I need. Excellent take out food both hot and cold that you can now take into the Pub to have with your beer.

We stopped in here at the spur of the moment and ended up buying food for our trip home. The store is clean and well stocked, all you have come to expect from Whole Foods. It is easily assessable if you are staying on Columbus Circle and has a wide variety or fresh food to chose from.

Nice variety but nothing like markets in Europe, still generic products compared to overseas. No where near as many yogurt choices.

The food was nice, a lot to pick and choose from but it was really expensive. For that price I would rather eat at a nice restaurant. Here you eat with plastic cutlery at a really dirty table. Also it was very noisy, guess that would have been ok if the prices was better though. Not recommending it at all.

This market is very good, but it can be very crowded. Try to avoid coming here after work- everyone else seems to do so. However, the check out lines move fast

We had a local Whole Foods near our hotel on the upper west side but we took the subway down to 59th to shop at one of the larger operations and as always we weren't disappointed with the choice. We often shop at places like this and have a picnic in the hotel room and it's fun to spread things... More

Always check your receipt. Take pictures of products with their price on the shelf. Many misplaced prices, and even things on sale will be charged at full price if you don't pay attention. Otherwise, my favorite for vegetarian options and organic produce and products. Great coffee and hot and cold foods. I live in NYC and shop here often.

It's not my favorite Whole Foods, but it's nearby so I'm often there. Has a decent selection of your basics for this type of market, but is by far not extensive. The lines are long but can move swiftly considering. Avoid rush hour!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
