Always a great place. staff excellent. Food terrific. I have a very restrictive plant based diet. They are always wonderful in preparing foods for my need. A regular spot for so many friends.
We had dinner and brunch here recently while on a long weekend trip to the city. The person I was with used to live in the neighborhood and had scheduled to meet friends here. It is a simple family run neighborhood place. It's doesn't pretend to be upscale, but he food is wonderful. I had the braised short ribs for... More

I’m so happy to see that amid a sea of gentrification The Dish is still going strong after all these years. Friendly staff and great good.
I love a good local diner with a huge menu and breakfast any time you want... The dish is exactly that. It can be a no frills, quick meal kind of place. Or you can come with a big group of friends and hang out for a few hours. Good service, friendly clientele and good diner food.
