If there's one spot you get to stop for a quick eat it should be here. The pulled pork sliders are the best miniature sandwich I have ever had. Great service and food; this is a must stop.

Popped in for a quick pint to cool down after a long day of travel. Excellent selection of beers on tap and served ice cold! Didn't eat but the food looked great and smelled delicious. Friendly staff, lots of tv's for sports. Good classic pub

Great spot if you're looking for a pub atmosphere. Right by Times Square, easy walk to theaters. Only had cocktails, no food. Staff was fun and friendly.

If you are in the theater district of Manhattan, this is a good place for a bite before or after theater. Prices are moderate and the food is good.

Great location next to Times Square. Unfortunately the food and service don't match the location or price. Steak was small and grisly. Burger was over cooked and bland. Beer was very good.More

Had a couple of good, fresh salads; pretty good selection of sandwiches. Didn't take too long and you can get an open window seat.

Lovely pub with great staff and food. We visited early afternoon and were not disappointed. We ordered a club sandwich to share as they are a good size portion. The staff continually cleaned empty tables and made sure we were happy. Would revisit

Description
Specialties Sports Bar Live Music Brunch Irish Pub & Restaurant History Established in 1969. It all started back in 1969 at the opening of a restaurant and a bar called "Pig n Whistle" by John Mahon and Pete Mcgee. The original restaurant was located in the Old Townhouse of President Taft on West 48th street, in the heart of New York's Rockefeller Center, the friendly people and atmosphere quickly became the meeting place for New York's literary and banking elite. The new "Pig and Whistle" on West 46th Street, in the heart of the theatre district, has the look and the feel of the historic townhouse where it all began. From the red brick walls and paneling on back bar, upstairs bar that is available for private parties and balcony overlooking 46th street, "Pig and Whistle" continues to follow the same detail and style as that gracious home in Rockefeller Center. Meet the Business Owner John M. Business Owner John Mahon son of the original owner will take over the reins in the business. He has trained and worked at many other fantastic restaurants in midtown Manhattan such as Langan's, Blooms Tavern, Pig'n'Whistle on 2 nd Ave and Pig n Whistle 48 street. Helena White will also join John in the management side. Helena has been based in New York for many year where she has gained her experience in Langan's, Pig'n'Whistle 47 th street and more recently PJ Moran's John and Helena's experience coupled with their local knowledge will ensure your visit will be one you will truly remember.
