We went to Thai select based on reviews. Good food. Pretty good spring rolls, not greasy, nice taste. Shrimps were good. Duck was ok even if not all parts were that good. Green curry was very good but there could have been more. Chicken was...More

My dish (which was the seafood noodle special) was brought out cold and then returned to the wok and served up again - now a gelatinous mess. No apology whatsoever. The rest of the family's food was bang average at best and we can certainly...More

Thai Select provides a perfectly acceptable and tasty meal, but doesn't offer anything special or memorable enough to elevate it above other Thai restaurants in the area.

Excellent food and service...Great vegetarian options. Our appetizers and our main meal were delicious and we did not have to wait long for service. If we are in New York City again we'll definitely come back again.

Good thai restaurant. Quick service and clean (good enough for me, despite their B-grade). Foods were amazing. We had the pad thai, papaya salad, and masaman (or was it green?) curry - anyway all was delicious. The pad thai is a must try and they...More

Thai Select seeks to thrill the New York epicure with Thai that's global, fresh and fun. Located in the midtown-west area of Manhattan, Thai Select offers healthy, modern Thai cuisine with worldly flare. Although the signature taste remains authentic Thai in flavor, the presentation might be a bit French in aesthetics, a bit Italian in portion and a bit Japanese in simplicity. With dishes like Kee Mao Fettuccini (made with whole wheat pasta) and Fruit Fried Rice (stir-fried with seasonal fruits), Thai Crabcake (encrusted to perfection) and Coconut Puff Martini (jumbo shrimp hand-battered in coconut strips), the kitchen selects only the very best dishes in Thai cuisine and only the freshest of ingredients picked from the farmer's market for our patrons; hence the name, Thai Select.
