If your'e near Central Park South, you can't do better than this for fabulous authentic Japanese dining. Atmosphere is ordinary, but food and service is tops.

Old school Japanese ramen-ya. Not as flashy as Ippudo or Totto, but your more likely to get a seat and the Ramen is solid - tasty and satisfying. Get the pork shumai appetizer, they are delicious. Also an excellent tan-tan (as well as a nice...More

On the recommendation of a friend who lives in the city and frequents this restaurant a LOT, we went there on a rainy Friday night. We had to wait abut 20 minutes because there aren't a lot of tables and it is clearly popular with...More

Staff were very friendly but for me my ramen was just ok. Big portion though. My wife liked hers. The fried chicken was delicious and the giozas were fantastic. The best we tasted so far.

My wife and I tried the ramen as well as the gyoza. Taste wise is okay I felt the soup (Miso Ramen) a bit salty. At the price they offered, I believe they are quite value-for-money place for a meal. Service is great as well.

It's my favorite ramen place in NY that I always visit when I'm in NY. This time, I got the ma-bo ramen, which turned out to be a bowl of spicy deliciousness. If you're really hungry, you can order a extra serving of noodles to...More

In the summer, I suggest the jar jar men. In the winter, I go for the kaki furai, dumplings, and one of the hot ramen soups. The service is usually good and the food comes out quickly.
