I have been coming back for over 25 years. Their pasta dishes such as the pescatore are really great tasty values. The pizzas are creative such as the chicken Tijuana pizza which is super hot. They also will make you a great slice with jalapenos and anchovies...add red onions...yum. A real value winner.

Good quality pizza, relatively inexpensive. We got the good value (for New York) pizza slices and were able to sit in even though we were just having those and water. I think at lunchtime or busy times you have to be buying a meal to sit in, not just coffee. Excellent pizza slices with good options for a dairy free... More

Every trip to New York City brings us to another pizza place. For some reason, New York City pizza is fabulous. We were looking for a place, someone on the street overheard us talking about it, and we are thankful that he spoke up and directed us to this place. So, if you are as into New York pizza as... We often "eat-in" or "take-out" from this typical NYC pizza restaurant. The pizza is not typical. It is much better than the average pizza by the slice pizza place. The ingredients used are delicious and fresh . The crust is thin and baked just right in their pizza ovens. Their meal portions are large and reasonably priced. The staff is... More

Went here after finding out my old pizzeria had closed after nearly 60 years. I felt coming here a little like a trader, but I had no choice. That being said, they were friendly, and there toppings were very good and tasty. I ordered a pie with peppers and sausages I go. The place was packed and was convenient to... More

After years in the neighborhood, the closing of Mimi's(84//Lex) led us to go further afield for a modest Italian dinner and was this place a surprise . Had always passed it by as just a place for a slice but the fare is much more varied and very delicious. The garlic bread was so rich and greasily delicious that we... More

Visiting NYC with my family first day & stumbled on this place by chance. We hadn't eaten since arriving. The pizza was great.

Too many tables jammed into the space took away from our enjoyment of the meal. Pasta dishes were OK but have definitely had better,

Had a couple of slices of cheese pizza and some miniature paninis. Both were delicious but I like the pizza the best. We also had a chocolate and vanilla mousse and a peanut butter mousse these were delicious as well. It definitely wasn't knock it out of the park delicious but it was still good.

After getting out of MET at 9 pm were looking for something to eat, discovered this small Italian joint and glad we did. The pizzas were terrific as was the cannoli! Want to go back for more!

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
