Arrived here in anticipation after a recommendation from someone i know. Dark, noisy, just a pub really. Had to move table because we couldnt see in the light. Craft beer offered was crap. Food was worse. Left still swallowing the last bite. Absolute rubbish. I will not be back there again.

Was on a week trip to NY and friends suggested this place. It was busy but didn't long to get a drink, the friends who got food enjoyed it and my phone was out of charge and they let me plug it in! All round nice and friendly place.

In the past before a show at Madison Square Garden we would stop into Stout for a brew and some food. We decided to go again last night before Billy Joel's show at the Garden. The show by the way was 2.5 hours of great music. Wish I could say the same for the food. Their menu has changed. One... More

I ran into the Stout restaurant searching for restaurants in the area. About 1/2 mile from hotel, easy walk. I was surprised how packed the bar was. Standing room only at 6:15pm. Mostly business execs waiting to take train home; schedule on wall. With the place packed it was way too noisy with conversations. I asked waitress if this was... More

We had tickets for MSG so stopped by for food and drink. This place is huge, great location, staff nice but I ate with my coat on. The downstairs room was so cold. Menu isn't amazing and my salad was average at best. Got the steak salad and it was tough and lasted about one minute before the meat was... More

They had a decent selection of beers, the chicken tenders were good sized but needed seasoning. the calamari was over cooked.

Lots of different beers, lots of tvs, lots of people. Dedicated fans wearing Knicks jerseys who left to watch them instead of the 7th game of the World Series. High energy vibe. Easy to make new friends.

Casual atmosphere in a large well appointed modern and new pub. Had the lamb lollipops which were disappointing, hardly any meat and looked like they were precooked. The chicken wings were meaty and decent. Very good selection of bottled beer and tap. Wait staff was very good.

Stout NYC brings a lot of beer options to the table. The lighting is dim providing a "chill" atmosphere, despite the noise level. The food is great, service was not bad but again the beer options is what stands out. They also have very cool events now and then. Haven't been to one but I definitely would like when I... More

Met up with a friend afterwork. Got there at 4pm so I actually got a seat at the bar! Bartender was just right. Took your order and left you alone. They have plenty of beer --draft and bottles-- to choose from. I was very impressed that they had 5? 6? varieties of pumpkin ales to choose from! Very centrally located... More
