Suggested by a friend who lives in town that this is a serious and proper bakery famous with the pretzel croissant, big one for a snack for me, and yes, i love it so much. Crusty buttery sesame crispy combination of pretzel and croissant has...More

We had the salted caramel hot chocolate and it was way too sweet. The consistency is like soup--very syrupy-but compared to that style of hot chocolate we enjoyed in Madrid, this was overly sweet. Manhattan pricing can always be an eye opener but a small...More

Tasty spot for a coffee and a pastry. Full of NYC's hustle and bustle. Great place to take a load off, have a good CUP of coffee and watch the City go by.

the most decadent hot chocolate, with the largest marshmallows found here!!! the decor is very rustic... i love the scale to weight yourself, before the restroom! City Bakery offers a vast variety of organic goodies, made fresh!

Personally, I thought the hot chocolate was too chocolately. It felt like drinking pure melted chocolate. The hot chocolate was not cheap and I could barely drink any of it because of how sweet it was. The homemade marshmallow was good though.

Have now been here twice by invitation and can't say I would ever return unless under duress. Confusing ordering process, long lines, food not well labeled, extremely loud, altogether unpleasant dining atmosphere, over-priced, I have to ask for a napkin (?!?!). I could go on....More

Stopped for breakfast before a customer meeting and had the last of the eggs they had a slice of bacon and a scone. Eggs were good as was the bacon. I did not finish the scone as I found it too dry. It must be...More

We got recommendation from a New Yorker friend and made a special trip there. The pretzel croissants are out of this world. Perfectly flaky skin and delicious pretzel topping. The hot chocolate is so delicious. My daughter also enjoyed her apple cinnamon muffin very much....More
