What a perfect not so little restaurant, is the right place to visit after the visit to the museum. I regret i didn't had more time and my lunch was quick, but the food was really good. Great for a long lunch with friends.

Our server, Tony, took the time to make drink recommendations, explained what dinner options would be best for dairy-free, gluten-free patrons. His choices were spot-on! The meal was delicious.

If you come here you should have the mushrooms with truffle. Absolutely delicious! The main course was ok! I advise the lamb!

With an interesting menu this can be either a snack or a full meal kind of venue. The service is top shelf with trained wait staff. A comfortable yet lovely atomosphere and the food is really great!

Yes it is a little over-priced but the food is really delicious! The Tagine is soooo good and so are the crostini starters. A nice and eclectic Mediterranean trip! I went there several time with international friends and they were all really happy with this place.

After walking the high line - Fig & Olive was the perfect night cap to an amazing afterwork date with my boyfriend. We started with great cocktails, a cheese board and a cool selection of different olive oil and bread. Dinner was the salmon and hanger steak. Desert was amazing with Tea and Coffee. The service was top notch and... More

From beginning to end, I enjoyed the Fig & Olive. The cheese board was delectable and the crostini selection unusual and so tasty. Our party had the scallops, salmon and risotto - all delicious. Food was nicely seasoned and just different enough from the norm to make it a special and memorable meal. Drinks were good too. The atmosphere is... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
