Took my team for a night out. Live jazz in the background, ping pong and pool and great beer. Great value too! Highly recommend!

I went here for some colleague bonding! I was disappointed in their drink selection and the lack of food, but had a great time playing table tennis and billiards with my coworkers! They do allow outside food so that is fun, but the lack of hard liquor was not my forte.

Took my 17-year-old daughter here and had a lot of fun. It was early on a Sunday evening. A sestet played New Orleans-style jazz classics. We sat close up for a set and then got a ping pong table for half an hour. There are also foosball tables and billiards and more. We had a good time.

It's a young and laid back crowd. In our 50s we were probably twice the average age. However we didn't feel the slightest bit out of place. It's not Ronnie Scotts (London), it's distinctly more down-to-earth. Jazz is more in the background (some people sit and watch, on old worn-out sofas, some stand around chatting, some play pool) and it... More

When Fat Cat is packed, good luck. It's not a fun place. No seating, no games, and a super crowded entrance and bar. If there's a line forming, do yourself a favor, save your cover and go elsewhere.

Really enjoyed our evening here. Heard a group with a Brazilian drummer and outstanding sax/flute player. Fun vibe..unpretentious and a place to stay all evening.

We met up with some friends who go to Fat Cat regularly and absolutely loved it. Chilled out, cool vibe going on. Heaps to do. Friendly people. Great live music. Booths to spread out and have a great chat with your mates. Great beer choices, amazing cider. Will definitely go back. A real highlight.

I came here once on a Friday night with an old friend from college. This place had a bar as well as pool tables available. If you wanted a pool table, you get a number and then you have to wait. The wait time was extremely long since it was a Friday night. We were waiting over an hour and... More

Eh beers, eh place, eh pool tables, eh ping point tables, dirty as hell.. music? More like everyone bang on your instruments and make noise. Almost.

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
