Stopped in for lunch. Had the Shepherds Pie ( it was outstanding) and a pint of Smithwicks Beer. A great Irish combo. Tara was friendly, helpful and attentive. The pub had the traditional Irish decor and appeal. Posters indicated live entertainment at 9pm.

My husband and I stopped in after seeing Wicked. We have been here before on previous visits to NYC. They have great Irish dishes. You should try the Beef Burger with cheese and fried egg added. It's a great combination of tastes. The hostess and waitress were super friendly and made sure we were happy with our food and drinks.

Nice place and reasonably priced food right on Times Square with very friendly and attentive staff, but the only authentic bit of Irishness in it was us.

We adopted this pub as our 'local' during a week's stay in New York. We often popped in for a drink before or after dinner and we also ate here three times. Each time we had friendly, efficient service. There are two menus; a bar menu and a more substantial dinner menu. Both offer good quality food at reasonable prices.... More

We stopped here for lunch just before attending a matinee--it is just around the corner from many of Broadway's best theatres. The ambiance is great, and the food was excellent! We had Reuben sandwiches--huge portions and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient as well.

We staggered across this bar/restaurant one evening and we not disappointed. The waiter was very polite and helpful. I had a chicken burger and my partner had sausages,he did say they were a bit tasteless,we're Scottish and have some excellent butchers so I suppose you can't compare. The place was cozy and had a nice atmosphere,it was busy so clearly very... More

Food and service was good. It was a very loud restaurant on a Thursday night. I prefer to dine where I can hear my dining companion.

We had no problem getting seated. The waitress was friendly and helpful and when her shift ended the new waitress came to introduce herself. We foound vegetarian food limited in Times Square where we were starting, so chose restaurants which had more than one choice where possible. My daughter and I had a veggie burger and a pizza and my... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
