We found this amazing Tapas place in Chelsea with a recommendation from EATER NY. It was amazing. Reservations needed for sure -small, lively space with amazing food. The Bar, while small, is charming, staff friendly (Patrick is the BEST) and then there is the food. Small plates perfect for sharing - the squid, the roasted veggies, the shrimp - wonderful.... My wife and I went here last night before heading to a show. 6pm. There were a few people in there at the bar and it looked tiny, but rest assured there is another room. The $5 sangria went down like goose feathers in my pillow, and I was at home. The service was attentive without being overbearing, The food:... More

Let's get the obvious out of the way before I begin the review: Tapas, which are not at all pricey in Spain, are outrageously overpriced in the US, and especially in big cities like NYC. You must go in expecting to pay more than you think you should for tiny portions. Now that we have that out of the way,... More

The staff is very nice. The food is good. No much quantity but quality is great. It is not a big place so if you are a group is better have a reservation.

but want to go back for food. Loved the ambience and the menu looked great. I was just back from a few weeks in Spain and the menu had several options that looked like they would have transported me straight back to Madrid. Yum! I had a glass of a Spanish white which was good and well priced, then I... More

Needed a place for a late night meal, found this place online. Very pleasantly surprised, wonderful atmosphere, food and service, friendly people, a bit off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

We went after the theater and had a really great light supper. The waiter was knowledgeable and fun and the food was really good. I would highly recommend El Quinto Pino for before or after the theater.

We don't usually have a chance to eat at Spanish restaurants, so the food was a special treat. I agree with the positive comments about the food by other reviewers, but I didn't find the dining area as cozy and quiet as mentioned by some reviewers. Our server was very patient while we decided on our order, but gave us... More
