The location of Yuva is at a prime place in New York City. The ambiance of the restaurant was not up to the mark; so also the attitude of the staff. Furniture, fixtures and fittings were of Indian look. Tourists from India seems to their...More

Wonderful, fresh selections, a very pleasant atmosphere, good service and piping hot naan from the tandoori oven. Worth the walk from MOMA or other midtown places.

I've spent time in South Asia and I was craving some great palak paneer in NYC. I found Yuva and I'm so glad I did! I'm surprised it wasn't more crowded-just proof that trendiness isn't always key to quality. You get free pappadam with six...More

We went is since we had to waite on our landlords, not being there when we arrived from JFK. What a good guess. People were really nice, seated us and giving us good food. The restaurant has a nice more or less intimite atmosphere.

We were searching for a place to have lunch at around 3 PM when most of the places were closed. Fortunately this one was open. We ordered the Laccha Paratha and chicken Jalfrezi along with couple of Mango Lassis. The service took time and understandably...More

I had a nice, tasty yellow dhal and mint puratha for lunch. I ordered medium spicy, but I will ask for it a little spicier next time. The puratha was fluffy with a sufficient amount of mint

Description
Owners Kedar Shah and Hritu Deepak have teamed up with Master Chef Dhandu Ram of the highly acclaimed restaurant “Bukhara” at the Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi, India to bring you the world famous Kebabs and Slow-Cooked dishes native to India’s frontiers. The restaurant is a tribute to India’s Open Fire Cooking where Chef Ram takes his patrons on a savory culinary tour of India that features specialties of his homeland bordering Afghanistan and Kashmir. Yes, the food is traditional frontier fare presented with New York flair, but the atmosphere is as far from the rugged rough and tough northwest frontier province as you can get!
