Would definitely not order here again. I found a metal screw in my Pad Thai! Must have fallen off a skillet or pan or something. This can just not happen. Luckily I ate with chopsticks so I saw what I was picking up from the plate... NEVER ORDER HERE !

daughter and I had a wonderful dinner at Luscious Thai. The restaurant is located on first Avenue and is simple and tastefully decorated. The server was polite and attentive. We ordered cocktails, they were large and well made. The reason we chose the restaurant was based upon the plosives reviews there was because of the reviews and the reviews did... More

Very unassuming entry into a bar area, we walked to the back section and was so pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was warm, inviting, clean and simply furnished. The appetizer and 2 entrees we had were very plentiful, fresh and absolutely delicious. A terrific find if you wish to have a wonderful Thai meal.

We had been here several years ago with our adult kids and returned this trip back to NYC. It didn't disappoint! Wonderful atmosphere, it was a beautiful night and we sat near the open patio. The crispy jumbo shrimp chili was served with noodles and delivered the expected spiciness. The jumbo shrimp chili was served with broccoli and jasmine rice... More

If you come with big group, probably have to make reservation. The place is not too big but the food is just great, especially duck and curry dishes. The pumpkin custard dessert is very good, not too sweet. This place also provide you a good drinks like beer, wine, and nice cocktails.

If your are in the neighbourhood and want some well prepared and yummy Thai food that won't deplete your wallet this is a good choice. All the standard entrees and apps that you would expect. My only criticism is that it is very dark and really hard to see the menu and your food. It turned one of our party... More

Clean, delicious, friendly efficient service, good location, good price. I can't believe I never came here before. The best tables are at the back so you can see the neighbor's big back garden. I am always pleased when the first thing I get when I sit down is a glass of cold water without ice. And the owner remembered me... More

I am a fan of spice and they didn't disappoint with the sauces. Went with the green curry and it had a lot of veggies in it! Love to be healthy too. Soup was good and enjoyed spring rolls with the apps.

We have been eating at Luscious Thai since they opened several years ago. We used to eat there 4x a week but once we moved an hour away we only go approximately every other week. You get incredible value for the $9.99 lunch special. We'll often place an order of everything we just ate to take with us to go.... More

Friendly service, good food, not a lot of $. We had Mix for Two & chicken Larb Salad split between four. Every item was delicious and a stand out amongst competing restaurants. We ordered spicy, and the Larb salad came very spicy. We asked to have the entrees a little less spicy and they obliged. We had Garlic Shrimp-excellent, 4... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
