I watched this restaurant since day one, when it first opened more or less like a fast food place with no liquor license. It's around the corner from me, so it's easy to check it out. I saw them grow and improve-- a process that...More

Brought a group of 8 out of towners for dinner. None had experienced Turkish food before. We had a great meal with good service. Our waiter helped us select a variety of shared appetizers. As reported, it is a bit loud with the tin ceiling.

Atmosphere compares unfavorably to that of a noisy diner, except that you are asked to pay mid-town Manhattan prices. Food is mediocre at best, and when we complained to the waitress about the chick pea salad, the owner arrived and argued with us. He told...More

We were pleasantly surprised that the chef/owner, who is gregarious, enthusiastic, and has big personality stopped by our table to describe the menu and answer questions. The food was excellent, as was the quality and speed of service. I will definitely visit again the next...More

This Turkish long standing restaurant is dimly lit, and its very large room has a nice ambience. The food is tasty and flavors authentic; and the menu and specials were extensive. The service was ok, nothing to write home about. The prices, those are high,...More
