Totally shareable meals ! The empanadas were the best I've had in a while and the pisco sours amazing. Try sharing the chicken and you'll get away with a fantastic meal at a great price !

Ever go to a restaurant and not sure what to order because your not sure if it's worth the money? (So you stick to what you know, thinking who can mess up rice and chicken so you pick something safe. ) Here, no matter what you order it IS GOING TO BE GREAT! Not sure about other locations but 10th... More

I was very disappointed in my food at Pio Pio on Amsterdam avenue, but thought the Peruvian cocktails were excellent. This is a really popular place, so maybe I just had bad luck with what I ordered. First the good news: the passion fruit margaritas, passion Pisco sours and red sangria were all excellent. My wife and our friend really... More

This location ruined the all the amazing experiences I've had prior at Pio Pio. I went on a early Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend, whom was very excited to try peruvian food. I ordered the Arroz chaufa which "WAS" my favorite meal there and he ordered the Lomo. My rice was disgusting, it had this nasty rice pudding texture (not... More

The place is small, crowded and noisy but somehow it makes the perfect ambience for the outstanding food they deliver. This is a restaurant that is away from the tourist areas of NYC wich adds charm to the place. We tried the Roast Chicken, the seafood rice and the Lomo Saltado and all of them were great. We also tried... More

I had heard great things about this restaurant and my father and cousin highly recommended it. My wife and I joined my family for dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious and served in HUGE portions. We were a party of 6 and shared the Matador Combo and a salmon dish.

Stopped in to anticipate an upcoming trip to Peru and were blown away. A bit crowded, but friend and efficient staff take care of you. We had the ceviche tasting and Juanita's chicken, along with the aforementioned yucca. Chicken and yucca liberally dunked in deliciously green sauce (we bought a countainer to go). Pisco sours of course fabulous. We will... More

I frequently eat at Hell's Kitchen pio pio restaurant as I love it. It was three years ago the last time I visited the upper west side one and I recalled it a little noise. This time, it was not too noisy. It was busy but not packed. Note, they only take reservations for parties of 6 people or more.... More
