One does not expect to get good food and service at a museum but this place is an exception to the rule. After an exhausting viewing of several exhibits it was great to sit down and have a refreshing beverage and tasteful food served with...More

After not being able to eat at the Metropolitan Museum (separate review) we were very favorably impressed by the Cafe' at the MoMA. The menu choices are very interesting and somewhat unusual. Everything that we ate was very well prepared, tasty and nicely presented. The...More

I went in the cafe as I was looking round MOMA. It was quite busy and everyone sits together on long tables. I think I had a toasted focaccia. It was really tasty with garlic and rosemary. I would definitely go back again.

I can't comment on the food, but if it is anything like the coffee it will be overpriced. $3.50 for a cardboard cup is out of line, especially since the coffee was adequate at best. I don't mind paying high prices in the restaurant, but...More

Excellent food is served very nicely. Nothing but compliments on the food or service. But... The place is very noisy and it's hard to have a conversation. The acoustics are bad and sound just resonates through the Café. I was exhausted after leaving.

The cafe was quite busy but just waited a few minutes for seats at the back window. The mushroom bisque was absolutely delicious but the fromaggio panini with pickled vegetables just just ok.

one could go out of moma and search for cheaper food at a truck or somewhere else. however, this is a somewhat trendy venue in moma, with sit-down meals and delicious food. the european influence is here. coffee is european quality (yea!), and they make...More

I stopped by the Cafe to relax a bit after spending hours in the galleries. The cafe has a very nice menu for lunch and coffee bar as well as sit down wait service at long, shared wooden tables. Very nice wine menu, as well....More
