From the minute you enter this tiny downstairs restaurant, you escape the New York world. We sat and were greeted by our obviously Italian young waitress. Her accent was devine. We all had creative drinks. We shared a couple of appetizers, all excellent as were...More

It was a family dinner, 6 adults and 4 children. Reservations were for 6:30. 3 of the family members were stuck in traffic and arrived late. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They prepared the children's meals especially for them. The waiter Alfredo...More

My husband and I went to Basso56 to celebrate my friend's birthday. We absolutely loved our experience. The food was excellent, but our highlight was our server, Alfredo. He made our visit truly remarkable. Once again, thank you Alfredo!
