First visit and found on yelp. At first, we couldn't find it as it is a very small front door. Our next thought was, it was small. As we were taken to the back of the restaurant, it's not that small at all. Very quaint...More

Great Thai food. We were put on a waiting list as it was very busy, but we had our table in a couple of minutes and the service was great. The fried rice with crab and lime was my favourite!

Four of us ate at Uncle Boon's earlier this evening. It was a first visit for all except one. We caught a cab from Midtown down to Lower Manhattan where the restaurant is located and it was well worth the 15 min or so drive....More

Hard to get a table! No reservations other than parties of eight or more. Four of us arrived at 7PM Saturday and were told we would wait 90 minutes. My friend negotiated and we were told we could have a small and slightly cramped bar...More

We had been in NYC a few days and were really looking forward to some amazing Thai food. We booked a table and entered the very crowded restaurant to discover the strangest Thai menu I've ever seen, and I had lived in Thailand before. The...More

I'm not going to lie, and it sounds pretentious and snobby, but I only dined at Uncle Boon's because it had a Michelin rating...With that being said, once you arrive, it is not what you expect from the "norm" for atmosphere at Michelin rated restaurants....More

Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita
maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant
retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for
“North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to
be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is
popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of
the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry,
Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping,
