An experience. Very few places like this still exist -- both for for service, dish presentation and taste. Excellence in every way. Service is outstanding. Sommeliers are top notch.

Had a fantastic dinner at Del Posto. There were three of us and we opted to do the 5 course tasting dinner - each course was fantastic! Started with the lobster salad, then went with the shrimp linguini, the truffle pasta - had the halibut as the main course. Everything was perfectly cooked and the flavors combined perfectly! The wait... More

The Venue is very nice ,good lighting etc. What bugged me the most is that its an Italian restaurant trying to be lets say a French restaurant ,i lived in italy for 20 years and this kind of goes against the Italian way of doing things. They have two menus ,one with 5 courses and one with 8 !They made us... More

On April 5, I hosted a private celebratory dinner at the restaurant for 24 people, myself included. The service was excellent, we had a dice course meal that was pared with various wines. I ordered three beautiful flowers for the table. The menu was reflective of the season and nothing short of elegant and delicious. The restaurant is in the... More

For lunch with my wife on a Thursday when i took a day off. In summary - a brilliant place, superb but discrete service, perfect food, great ambience. Yes its quite expansive but it is an excellent experience unlike many other places in NYC. Little disturbance was when i had to provide my CC for my reservation call, just 30'... More

We had a very nice dinner at this restaurant. Ambiance is right on. Notice level perfect. Food, service and wine list excellent. The bill reflected all the above as it gets pricey when pairings are ordered. Take you pick of 5 course or 7 course with or without pairing.

Upscale food with a very polite staff. The pasta is perfect so do not miss, even though it is not in the fix price menu. The desert is very good as well. Do not miss! this is the best italian experience next to chealse market that you could have

Took my friend here for a big birthday... wanted something really special and Del Posto didn't disappoint! We did the five course tasting menu- I don't know how anyone could do the eight course menu. Even though the portions are small, the food is so rich that I could barely finish my entree and barely touched my dessert. And then... More
