This is becoming a trendy restaurant on the west side of Manhattan. The room has a pretty zen design. Foods are international and the only Alsace inspiration from the owner can be found in the wine list. This wine list boosts an excellent selection of...More

We tried Perry St. because of the Zagat review. It did not disappoint. Loved the octopus appetizer -- so tender and the sauce was amazing. The rice cracker crusted tuna was also very good as was the salad with the green goddess dressing. For entrees,...More

Lovely place off the buzz of the busiest streets. Modern decor and nice service make this place a great option for a quiet lunch with your partner (or would be great for a business lunch). We've chosen the taste of summer menu and the options...More

We were there for dinner and it was excellent. The appetizers modest in size and tasty. The main courses were outstanding -- we had beef tenderloin, scallops and sea bass. We had the molten chocolate cake and the blueberry pie and they were a great...More

From our first few minutes--an impromptu drink at the bar--to our final bite--2 light and yummy desserts--everything about Perry St. was delicious and elegantly done. We had six different dishes--tuna tartare, avocado yumminess, lobster, duck, a strawberry and a raspberry dessert--and all of them were...More

We had a preset lunch for our son's graduation. The food was good / great; the service was wonderful and the ambience was very nice. And it is very very quiet even though it is on a very busy road.

I had unfortunately a terrible experience with this Restaurant. I went there in a business trip with some New Yorkers friends. I’ve been impressed by the wonderful architecture of the building, and the atmosphere of the ambient. During the dinner I had crispy calamari and...More

We have been to Perry Street many times over the years and it remains one of our favorite restaurants. The food and service is consistently very good and innovative. I would suggest that the decor could use an update at this point but overall, we...More

Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to

Description
Perry St has reopened! Chef Jean-Georges brings relaxed elegance to the West Village with Perry St, which opened in 2005 and has been awarded three stars by the New York Times. Located in the spectacular Richard Meier Towers, the restaurant offers beautiful waterfront views of the Hudson River. The stunning dining room was designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen, whose Danish background lends a mid-century modern design sensibility. Jean-Georges' son, Cedric Vongerichten, helms the kitchen, creating dishes that reflect his own keen instinct for balancing flavor and texture with an exquisite blend of French, American, and Asian influences and ingredients. The menu is inspired by the season, centering on the local market at Union Square. The perfect restaurant for special events and group dining.
