Whenever I am in town I meet my friends there. It is a typical Bavarian pub and restaurant with a huge variety of German food and beer. Its mostly busy and has a cosy atmosphere. You can sit outside also. The staff is really charming...More

What a hidden treasure. This authentic German restaurant was totally enjoyable by true Germans. Try the schnitzel, spaezle, and or schmaln! The beer and gluhwein were great. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for a true German experience in NYC!

Been here with friends a few times. Food and beer is great. It's a dark, old, wooden place but it makes you feel you're in Germany.

Good actually wonederful food. But this particular evening, the place was not only a restaurant but also a meeting point for lots of noisy people drinking pints and two pinglasses of german beer. We literally couldn't hear ourselves speak.

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
