We have stayed at the hotel next door on a number of occasions but have never eaten at Tony's possibly because the prices look quite expensive but when you check the menu more closely you see that the prices are for 2-3 people sharing dishes...More

A meal at Tony's is always on my "to-do" list when I'm in NYC. We went on a Friday around 2:00pm, and the restaurant was surprisingly busy. Our server, Maggie, was wonderful. She let us slowly sip our wine while deciding what to order. There...More

We went to this restaurant for a good Italian dinner while in New York City this weekend. It is located right in the Times Square area and was very convenient to our hotel. We didn't know it was family style where you order everything separate...More

In the past we have had lots of Italian food, including a week in Italy last year. Hands down, the best ever. Best taste, huge servings and great service. Four of us ordered 3 selections, all excellent. Restaurant was packed for dinner and still received...More

Don’t ask why, but I had the displeasure of eating at Tony’s twice during a recent NYC trip. Tony’s serves standard Italian fare such as pasta, calamari and meatballs. During daytime, it is possible to purchase individual portions, but during evening, only large family style...More

I like to order the special of the night. The chef should know the best dishes. A huge mound of arugula, some flavorless pears, a few tiny pieces of blue cheese and walnuts do not make for a chefs recommendation salad. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Convivial atmosphere, wonderful wait staff and excellent food. What's not to love? We stayed for several days in the city to see shows. We wandered into Tony's when we were still tired and jet lagged. It was such a fine experience, that we booked every...More

I have eaten at this restaurant and each time has been a delicious meal of Italian food. Food is served family style which means it is not an ideal place for couples. It is very noisy - don't go expecting to have an intimate conversation....More

Time to cut out the fancy nose in the air restaurants. This is great Italian food. We had great pasta in meat sauce, veal Parm, zucchini fried chips, and a salad. We got the family style sizes and it was plenty for 4 of us....More

Description
Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.
