I haven't heard anything official, but the restaurant has been closed since Sukkot. Also, this location is no longer listed on the Noah's Ark web site.

Looking for delicious deli? This is the place. Great fresh authentic Jewish deli, pickles and all. Only complaint, they don't take reservations and the place isn't big. I had a big party with me. David is really nice, works hard and got the right order...More

We had a terrible meal and awful service. The only thing that was decent was the cole slaw. The corned beef was just fair and the sandwich came on a plate with nothing else. We asked for chips and eventually they brought fries. The salads...More

I hate giving bad reviews to kosher restaurants, because they are few and far between (well, not really in NYC, but still), but this place was so depressing. We went at lunch hour and were the only customers. And the food....the food was...BLAH. Gross. It...More

Ummm-- if you aren't searching for hunks of meat, not the place to go for brunch. Which is a shame because they're the only kosher place in the vicinity.

Be forewarned, this is a kosher restaurant which means that they close early on Fridays, are closed on Saturdays, and do not serve dairy products. The food is excellent...better than the other "famous" delis in the city. Just being in a movie does not make...More

This is one of the better Kosher delis Left in Manhattan. If you need Kosher and are in the Grand Street/Lower East Side area, Noah's Ark is very good. If you are there at lunchtime, its almost a steal. If you don't need Kosher, I...More

For our first NYC trip (we live in Paris, France) , we wanted to eat in a Deli. We also wanted to avoid the mandatory and overpriced Katz. So we went at Noah's Ark twice. Everything about it was great. It's clean, people are friendly,...More

The food is so delicious. The deli is sliced fresh to order, and is exactly like I remember it to be...warm & yummy. I enjoyed the free pickles and home-made cole slaw, but best of all was the corned beef and pastrami combo sandwich on...More

This restaurant serves the most delicious deli around. There are plenty of menu items to select from, including my favorite, roumanian tenderloin steak, and a kasha knish. The deli sandwiches are over-stuffed, and served warm. I see a lot of travelers frequenting the establishment, and...More

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving
immigrant past and its modern transformation into a
beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side
is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city.
The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next
to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment
