Ate dinner here last Saturday at 5:30pm. Nice cozy restaurant with Turkish stuff on the walls. I loved all of the Whirling Dervish figurines. I had the fish special..excellent!. Companion had the falafel platter and that was outstanding as well. Roasted pepper appetizer delicious! All the tables were full when we left. Would definitely go back again! Servers were informative... More

We normally eat at the Turkish restaurant across the street called Turco, however, we needed a place with a bit formal setting. So we chose this place which also serves Turkish food, in a bit more formal setting. The server suggested the daily special of broiled peppers at $ 13.95. ( off the menu ) This was a collection of... Great food, brilliant service and ideal location. Falafel was amazing and chicken shish was gorgeous and moist.

My wife and I went into this restaurant, we were not very hungry, as we had eaten lunch 4 hours earlier. The waitress / hostess was very friendly and helpful, although her accent was not always easy for us to understand. both of us ordered items she had recommended, as we were not very familiar with Turkish cuisine. I had... More

While staying solo at a local hotel on business, take out sounded like a good option for a lazy night. The ladies at TC were very accommodating & my pick up was ready on time. So ensconced in my corner room at Yotel, I really enjoyed the lamb shish & spicy hummus. The pita was warm & fresh and the... More

I came across this place and was back for the second time today. The people running this place are warm and welcoming. Its a small sized, well decorated restaurant. I like the ambience. Food is tasty and service is great. If they could make the toilet a bit more up market, they could be 5 rated.

My wife and I often have good luck "stumbling" across a new place that we enjoy, and Turkish Cuisine was no exception! We were walking on 9th Ave. following a Broadway matinee, and decided to give it a try. Our food was excellent - lamb with yogurt, falafel, a delicious (though small for the price) appetizer similar of spinach/cheese pie.... More

Had eaten here before. Its a nice small family run restaurant. Had a hummus appetizer with fresh pita bread. The special of the night was lamb kebab on spinach. Very well seasoned and prepared. They have a small menu but everything is freshly prepared. They serve Turkish beers and wine which was a nice change.

Food was very tasty and nicely served. Good proportions and reasonably priced. Parking was a bit hard to find, but we managed!

We were hungry after a Broadway show and wanted to eat something warm and hearty. I am a big fan of Turkish food and when having a choice and a chance usually opt in for a small mom and pop place like this in any city of the world so I googled this place and surprisingly got an availability on... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
