Food was decent, nothing to write home about. But the service was horrible, in fact it was the worst experience we had in all of our 9 days in NYC; our waiter delivered the bill before we asked for it, I truly regret tipping the...More

We had visited the 9/11 memorial and walked back via Chinatown to find a nice meal. We came across joes ginger and it was busy so we thought we would try it. The service was poor with food coming at different times so I had...More

The food here is super amazing! We ordered A LOT of food which came very quickly and was all super fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend the soup dumplings, fried rice cake with beef and the scallion pancakes but everything we ate was great!...More

Kinda weird atmosphere, the owner just sat there eating nuts, but the food was really nice. It's cash only but it's totally worth it. Their dumplings with crab and fried rice with ham, egg, shrimps and peas is really tasteful!

The little sister to Joe's Shanghai, this gem is tucked away in the heart of chinatown. I take all my out-of-town guests here. This location is less crowded. Old-school NYC environment with no-frills service gives way to the most delicious soup dumplings i've had in...More

Soup dumplings are addictive and Joe's Ginger has them. And no lines like Joe's Shanghai. Make sure you put it on soup spoon, poke small hole and suck out all the soup before it falls on plate.

Exceptionally rude service, felt like we were in a crude version of Chinese faulty towers !! Oh and the food was really bad !!

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
