A group of us decided to get together for dinner, and price point was a consideration along with food restrictions, it had to be mid-town, what to do? We reserved at Cafe Un, Deux, Trois, a 40 year old three meal, late night place between 6th Avenue and Times Square. It was the absolute best choice. The French menu is... More

I am having a bit of difficulty with this review. This was dinner on a family night out with my mother, my brother and my sister in law before going to the theater. I had not been to Cafe Un Deux Trois in years, not because it had fallen out of favor, but more due to the fact that I... More

Traditional classic style restaurant, not pretentious. Service was excellent, wonderful menu but this review is for breakfast. French toast with fruit and crepes filled with scrambled eggs and bacon with added goat cheese was fabulous. Plenty of room, had a table on the window. Prices very reasonable for NYC. Highly suggest the walk from Time Square for any meal.

I have been coming to the city for nearly 30 years and finally made it to Cafe Un Deux Trois. Stopped in for breakfast and my husband was saying that this was one of the places his family would come when they visited when he was a kid. The ambiance is very pleasant and spacious. I hate when a restaurant... More

After 5 days in NYC it was nice to find this simple yet elegant restaurant. We made it in for breakfast and we're pleased with the large selection. The prices were low and the food was good! Portion size was more than enough. Would definitely visit again.

Of all the places we ate over the course of a week in NYC, this one had the vibe of being hard to get into and received excellent newspaper reviews and we're not sure why. While the decor is cute, I sure didn't feel like I was in Paris. The service are somewhat friendly, but we experienced friendlier in other... More

I had lunch at the bar of the cafe. The lobster bisque and crab cakes were fine but nothing special. My glass of house sauvignon blanc was worth the $12. With tip the cost was $53, probably average for NYC in the Times Square area. It weas just OK.

This is a great place to go before or after a show! The wait staff is friendly and you actually feel as if you are on the Champs-Élysées! The food is fantastic as well. Oddly, one of their best dishes is their cheeseburger "Burger Américain!" It is out of this world and I highly recommend it! Stop by for dinner... More

On our recent visit to New York City we had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. Our server Marko was vey attentive our culinary needs. The restaurant was busy for breakfast but we were able to get a reservation. It is recommended you get a reservation as this is a popular restaurant especially... More

Headed here after the restaurant we had reserved for pre-theatre was so crowded and noisy we did not want to stay. Arrived without a reservation and luckily were seated promptly in a far corner which suited us fine. Between us we ordered a house salad, modules frites, lobster bisque and a jambalaya crepe. All were delicious and there were so... More

Description
Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away. We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night. We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme. The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast. We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
