Being huge movie nerds/horror buffs, this was a must stop for me. It's a pub. Not much too it. Cold beer, reasonably priced. We didn't eat (it was late and the kitchen was closed). Staff was awesome. Our bartender Maria treated us like old friends (we left as new friends!). The basement wasn't open but she unlocked it for us... More

Walking down 4th and saw the slaughtered lamb bar with a skeleton above the door and figured we'd stop and check it out. Nice selection of beers and drinks and good menu. Old building with interesting decor. Definitely worth a stop

A fun place to sit by the open windows and watch the people go by, while having a good cold beer. The bartenders are very friendly too!

We were in NYC, and wanted to watch the Packer game. However, the Packer bar was extremely packed so we went searching for a different place to watch the game. Patrick welcomed us with open arms. He put the game on special for us, and even cut the house music so we could watch the game! Along with our server... More

We made a special trip to Greenwich Village to find this pub and it did not disappoint! Very different atmosphere and fun! We were there during the day so it wasn't crowded. Great selection of beer. Didn't eat there. Worth a look!

A great place in Greenwich Village for a pint of real beer. Lots of different brews to choose from. Prices are good. Don't let the dark interior or the TV screens put you off.

Stumbled across this place a few years ago while wondering through Greenwich Village. Really neat, kinda creepy atmopshere and awesome beer selection. Food was good as well. Always hit up this spot when I am in town.

We've been here many times. Fantastic beer selection. Try something new there. We have not eaten here. It gets crowded at night but go during the afternoon if you can.

Cool ambiance and decorations, however, it does need some tiding up. The few times I've been there, they are always short staffed. Their burgers though, are worth the wait.

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
