I prefer "cart" dim sum to "a la carte" dim sum, but at Dim Sum Go Go the dumplings are fresh and they offer over 20 varieties. The vegetable dumplings are the most unusual, but they do the standard dumplings well too. Paradoxically, during peak...More

We liked having dim sum at this restaurant in Chinatown. Food was good, not superlative. The restaurant itself is not quite a dive but I didn't think it was particularly comfortable, tables close together, kind of had the feel of a fast food restaurant. And...More

Visited here with a very large group. The staff was accommodating for our group and gave us most of the second floor space. The food was DELICIOUS!! We shared a number of dishes. The dim sum was fantastic, and my favorite main dish was the...More

I got turned on to dim sum brunches many years ago. But the traditional form can be problematic. It's cool to point to dishes on carts as they pass by. But sometimes by the time the dumplings that would have been your first picks appear,...More

I used to go to Asia for business, and really love authentic Dim Sum. This is a terrific restaurant that I first found out about through the food tours of NYC. Now I go back every time I'm in the city. The dim sum platter...More

Our food was delicious. Favourites were the steamed duck dumplings and the chicken feet. Complimentary green tea a nice gesture too

We dined here for lunch and LOVED the food. The dumplings were so fresh, light and flavorful. I love that everything is cooked to order vs dim sum that just sits on a cart getting stale. If you love Dim Sum this is a must...More

Went there with hubby on a late summer afternoon. The staff is very friendly. Laid back atmosphere. Reasonable prices! We tried the crab dumplings, duck dumplings, peeking duck with steamed buns and the seafood go go rice. Everything was delicious but Andrew Zimmerman wasn't lying...More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle

stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where

Yes the food is very good- as is the location. You have to keep a menu with you because they don't describe the dishes like when there is a tea-cart service. If you need to ask "which one is this" do- you're in NYC after all... More
