Had very good pork and vegetable fried dumplings. Tasty and some of the best I've had in New York. Small booths so don't go with more than 4 people as we had to sit in seperate booths. The bibimbob beef was tasty also.

Had an early dinner here before our flight back. Around 16:30 the place was half full. Service was quick and the dumplings were great, filled nicely, tasty and well prepared. The metal chopsticks took a little getting used to but probably ecologically more friendly than wooden ones you throw away.

I'm not a dumpling person, but these where the best dumpling I ever had! Order the Goon Mandoo if you want to treat your mouth to something special! Next we had a soup with chicken sorry don't remember the name but it was also very good. If you're not a big eater you might want to share as I found... More

DELICIOUS AND FRESH! WOW! Such a treat to eat here every time. I recommend to every one. The pork fried are not greasy at all because they are fried to order in a pan. Love watching them make them in the window. I only wish the staff was a touch nicer but as long as I get the mandoo, I... More

My friends and I absolutely loved our experience here. We came early on a Sunday and we're seated right away, but the place filled up quickly. We ordered the steamed mandoo to start and it was incredible. So flavorful and juicy! I tried one of the hot bibimbops for my meal, with beef. I also tried the pad thai. Both... More

Service was not great and bibimpap came with a lot of sauce but little flavor and no egg. It grew on us but I prefer to blend it myself and to put the sauce on myself.

Not a fancy restaurant, small, with a dozen bench seating tables. We wanted a table for 5 and had a baby stroller and they were able to accommodate us in a short time – it does get crowded and the wait time could be long. The mandoo (Korean dumplings) were great, an impressive amount of choices for dumplings of all... More

Not fancy, but efficient with an impressive amount of choices for dumplings of all kinds, fried, steamed, etc. There are also plenty of non-dumpling choices but I've never had any.

We were craving dumplings last night so we decided to head to Koreatown. Mandoo Bar is a cute little place. You can watch them make the dumplings from the window outside. We got there at the perfect time (there is normally a long line), However they sat us right away. We were super hungry – “Our eyes were much bigger... More

Close to Madison Square Gardens, Macy's and all other shopping. A terrific option for lunch especially. The dumplings and the noodles are the best dishes here. Try the Goon Mandoo, pork anf vegetable dumplings pan fried-exquisite. The Japchae, glass noodles with beef and vegetables was wonderful. The Combo Dolsot Bibibob was okay not great.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
