We had a very great experience at The Park on Saturday night 02-25-2017. Our server Denver did absolutely wonderful job! He was very tentative, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We appreciated him checking if we had any allergies prior to making menu selections. It was very thoughtful of him. He was at our table multiple times making sure the... More

Amazing staff, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! We celebrated a birthday there by recommendation and now we can't wait to go back, it's definitely going to be a repeat every time we visit the city.

My husband and I were on 10th Avenue, very near one of the High Line entrances. We were looking for a place for Sunday brunch, and saw The Park. The menu looked good for brunch-- not a huge selection, but with some unusual offerings-- and with moderate prices. We sat in the main dining room (high ceilings, skylights, huge windows,... More

Great location ... fantastic food ... amazing service! Stop here... the mussels are the best I have had in ages... I had the duck salad and mom had the veggie burger... flavours were solid. Enjoy! Two people with wine expect to pay $80 bucks a bargain.

We went to Chelsea Market for dinner, but it turns out to be a crowded, overwhelming, undesirable place. From there, we somehow ended in 'The park'. Loved it !!! Great decoration, nice service and really decent food !! My carrot cake and stake salad were just from another planet !!!

The restaurant is located in an old Taxi barn filled with trees strung with christmas lights. The atmosphere is very cool and the waiters were friendly. However, from the time we sat down it took us an hour to get any food on the table other than bread.

We walked in for a quick lunch after a walk along the High Line. My youngest son and I had been in before, and he'd enjoyed the pizza so we thought we'd take a chance and the place was less than half full. The young female, utterly charmless maitre d' seated us in a booth. A waitress came and gave... More

We we 5 pp on a very quiet night. The atmosphere is very charming; we were seated in the Garden room with 20+ feet ceilings, big trees with white lights, and leafy vines covering the ceiling. The chairs, metal garden chairs, were not very comfortable. There was dried poop on my chair and on a water glass, the perils of... More

Interior of the Park is really cool. Live trees, glass ceiling, fire place area for drinks. Food was underwhelming- cheese board only had 4 small pieces of cheese and the rest was apples, walnut pieces, crasins, and pears. Most likely would not return

This restaurant located near High Line Park is absolutely amazing. It has five unique spaces - The Atrium, Main Room, Red Room, Penthouse and Garden. Each room as a unique vibe that is so cool. We ate brunch out in the Garden with huge trees lit like a magical forest, cute little birds flying around (although on left an unfortunate... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination.
