As the above states. Such a great New York experience. The food, the atmosphere, the music, Liam is great, so helpful. You could not beat it. A must.

Family of five for burgers. Had the Cadillac burgers, they were fine, nothing great. The garlic fries were delicious though. Ordered the cheesecake it came out quite cold. Go down the road to Smith and Wollensky's!

The allure of trying this restaurant was the history of the building, a 2 storey 1800's brick structure amongst the NYC skyscrapers. Photos on the walls describe the clientele that frequented their special tables. Known for their burgers. Mid-range priced menu. Our server was the best waitress we had in NYC, and anywhere for a long time, she was special... More

PJ Clarke's has been a family favorite for decades. We stop here for a great drinks and terrific oysters. Bartenders are friendly and professional. They also have one of the best burgers in the city

I had the fish and chips here and very much enjoyed them. Service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was lively and warm, and is probably the best thing about it. Everything is a little on the pricey side.

I brought my family to NYC for the long Easter weekend. We came to Clarke's for the burger and it didn't disappoint. I had the BBQ blue burger. It was the most moist and savory burger I've had in a while. The tater toys were good as well. My boy has two helpings. Definitely recommend this place!

We called into this bar on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing with tourists and local new yorkers. It was a brilliant buzz with lots of shared conversations and laughs we also had triple mini burgers and calamari. Really great atmosphere and fun. We called in again on the following Tuesday afternoon when it was bucketing down with... More

It was a cold rainy day and we needed somewhere close to the museum. This was a great recommendation! The drinks, burgers and chicken pot pie filled us up well and gave us a warm afternoon's comfort and shelter.

2nd time in NYC,looked forward to this place. Lunch was busy but service impeccable and friendly. Food so good we went back for dinner a couple of days late. Dinner before the opera (accross the street).Service very slow. After 20 minutes informed they were out of New York steak (!). M Substitute main course (cold tuna) arrived so late we... More

It had been a long time since I had been to PJ Clarke's -maybe 15-20 years. Found myself solo and staying in the city the night before the blizzard that wasn't- decided to walk around midtown with time and daylight to burn. Eventually found my way to PJ Clarke's and peeked into the bar. The bar itself was crowded and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
