Very charming place with great food. Love to sit at the bar counter and watch the little dishes being prepared right in front of your eyes.

When you are surrounded by native spanish speakers, you know the tapas are authentico! The Razor clams are as advertised, the bone marrow smacks you with Umami! Casual yet delicious, friendly, yet elevated food. Gracias!

I have visited this restaurant at least four times a year for the past eleven years and have never had a meal that was less than delightful. The menu changes frequently enough that I don't get bored. The wine list is excellent. The service attentive.

It's hard to go wrong at casa mono, but the razor clams and uni alone make this Michelin starred spot a reliable treat.

Restaurant is part of Mario Batali's empire and has been around a long time, for good reason. The food is simple Spanish tapas, executed to perfection. The restaurant is tiny, so reservations are a must. There is bar sitting for walk ins. The seared foie gras is one of the best I ever had. The grilled razor clams were perfect... More

Casa Mono is one of my top three restaurants in NYC. It keeps evolving over the years and the dishes all show passion and creativity. Every dish is very unique where the ingredients are pushed to maximum intensity. Wine list is great, and I always ask them to recommend something which never fails to provide a delicious bottle of wine.

We would dine here more often if we can be admitted every time we called. The space is compact and accommodates perhaps 25 people maximum, if that, at one time. It is an interesting little place with tasty 😋small dishes (tapas). I wanted to taste everything on the short menu that was clearly well thought out, using the best ingredients... More

If you're like me, I enjoy tasting as many dishes but not having a full plate of food then Casa Mono is a place you should frequent. Their Spanish influence tapas style dishes are simply a mouthful of flavour and textures. I'm always eager to sample as many dishes as I can. But for a table for 2 I would... More

We revisit this favorite regularly and fall in love all over again. The food is lusciously flavorful, inventive and authentic in a rare sort of way -- no self-conscious fussiness. The staff is remarkably informed and helpful, especially if you tell them what you like and give them freedom to suggest and guide you through your choices. They don't upsell... More
