I have been here more than a few times. I have never however, been here on a weekend. You can't make a reservation for a Saturday/Sunday unless you make it Mon-Frid and you can't make it the same day as you want to come. We had 6 people last minute and waited for an hour and a half. The hostess... More

Lovely little place for afternoon tea. Perfect if traveling with young ones. Great selection of tea. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. Prices about right for NY.

I had breakfast, I wasn t impressed with the quality (scones were a bit in spite of being in the morning, presumable they should have been freshly baked? Orange juice not very nice, dry potatoes). Prices are way to high and your better off at almost any other café in the neighbourhood.

I planned a trip to Alice's Tea Cup for my daughter who loves tea. We planned for breakfast but ended up having brunch instead. There is a wait.... a long wait if you do not have reservations. We waited about 40minutes. My son was already cranky by the time we were seated. Then we had to wait again for our... More

We went as a family for a lunch. All of us had an afternoon tea plate. The sandwiches were tasty, the soup was great and even the grilled cheese got good reviews from the youngest of our group. Scones were amazing, and the chocolate mousse was awesome. Each of the 4 teas were terrific. Rave reviews here! The addition of... More

We always stop here when visiting the Museum of Natural History in New York, and most of the time we're lucky enough to get seated! The lines can be quite long for this charming little tea shop, which has only 15-18 tables of various sizes, but I have never found the wait to be as long as estimated. The tea... More

We went for a late breakfast at around 10 a.m. with a 10 year old boy who loves tea and a 7 year old girl who loves fancy. The hostess greeted us warmly and asked my daughter to make a "Christmas, Hanukkah, or New Year's" wish and sprinkled her with soft glitter. She offered the same to my son, who... More

Had afternoon tea here. Loved the atmosphere and food so much, that we went out of our way to have lunch at the Eastside location the next day. Incredible selection of cakes and sandwiches. You definitely get your monies worth!

Stopped in for a bit of food before heading to the theater. Was not impressed with the initial service that we received (the host was rude). We were quickly seated and our server was initially attentive. I ordered a bowl of soup - they only had one option when we were there. It was okay, but not great by any... More

The cafe's concept intrigued me and the basement location added to its charm, as I feel like I am walking down the "rabbit hole". Once inside, the decor is ok, I was expecting something more whimsical or kooky, so a little disappointed. The place was crowded and we waited for about 30 minutes (it was around 10.30am on a Saturday).... More
