Huge place that can accommodate after theater diners. Great food served family style so the portions are huge, like for 4-6 people. There were four of us and we ordered one entree and one salad we all liked. Huge menu & great service.

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in NYC. They serve in large portions, big enough normally for two or more people. Their menu is written on a blackboard. Costs are a little high considering the quantity and quality of the food but well...More

Everyone raves about this place and it's difficult to get into without a reservation, but we didn't care for it. It's family style so the portions are huge, but too much for two people and not tasty. We won't go back.

Huge family style portions with wonderful taste! Our party of six, including a big eater, couldn't quite finish two entrees and a salad. It was pricy ($17 for a Long Island and $14 for a shot of cheap rum) but worth it. Highly recommended.

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
