Went there after going to Paramour for a birthday celebration. As an appetizer had the lobster tacos which were amazing!! And had the Symphony which was a celebration to my taste buds... For entree we ordered the rolls Chelsea, Rainbow and Park Ave, and still can not decide which I liked best... For dessert had the brownie which was a... More

We ordered the sushi and sashimi for two...Excellent, fresh, flavorful sushi, especially the crunchy spicy salmon roll. Terrific texture. A memorable meal during my daughter's first visit to NYC. She simply loved it. Service was decent, not great, but the quality of the meal made up for it. Ask for their tasty, soy/citrus ponzu sauce. A better dipping alternative over... More

I stopped into Haru for a quick visit and loved the sushi. I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes and my service was great. I will definitely return!

First visit was a late evening, after a Broadway show. The Hot & Sour soup was amazing and so was the sushi. Just before leaving NY we squeezed in a second visit, had the soup again, just as awesome! Spicy garlic shrimps were on the lunch special, and so was a sushi plate 🖒🖒🖒

I am not a sushi person, but if you are, this seems to be the place to go. It was packed. My friends loved it. Fortunately, I found plenty on the menu that was not sushi. I had miso soup and the crispy duck appetizer with scallion pancakes. Great place to go before the theater as the service was quick.... More

Went there before a show, the sushi was amazing and so was the dessert. I had the warm brownies with green tea ice cream and a few drops of caramel sauce, so good, I highly recomend it! The staff is helpfull, positive and quick! We'll go back next time we're in town!

The sushi was tremendous and so was the service. Great drinks menu and the staff are very polite and helpful. I like how this restaurant is just off of times square, making it very easy to find a nice place to eat in a very tourist ridden area.

Great lunch spot, fish and rice always tastes fresh. Shumai are not your standard mini, but more like a dimsum sized dumplings (4). Convenient if you need to find a meal in between lunch and dinner, as they stay opened all afternoon.

Dependable sushi and Japanese food, great service. Gets crowded so make a res on Opentable. There's nothing great in the area so I find myself here a lot for business lunches.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
